Texas Slab service
Texas Slab provides educational information and a connection service for homeowners seeking information about possible foundation-related concerns or new concrete construction projects. Texas Slab does not provide engineering advice, structural inspections, diagnoses, warranties, foundation repair services, or concrete construction services.
No diagnosis or guarantee
The Texas Slab Check is informational only. Reported symptoms can have many causes. A Slab Check result does not establish that a foundation is damaged, needs repair, or is structurally unsafe. A concrete project quote request does not establish project scope, price, or timeline until confirmed directly with a participating contractor. Decisions about a property should be based on appropriate on-site professional evaluation.
Participating professionals
If you request professional follow-up, Texas Slab may connect you with an independent participating service provider. Providers are independent businesses and are responsible for their own evaluations, representations, pricing, contracts, licensing, insurance, and work. Texas Slab does not guarantee that a provider will accept a request or that services will be available in every area.
Texas Slab SMS program
Users who separately opt in may receive text messages from Texas Slab about a submitted foundation evaluation or concrete project request, service connection, and related updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
SMS consent is optional and is not required to use the Slab Check or request a concrete project quote. Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Your carrier’s messaging and data terms may apply.
Acceptable use
You agree not to submit false, fraudulent, abusive, automated, or unauthorized requests; interfere with the site; attempt to access systems or data without authorization; or use the service in violation of applicable law.
Website changes
Texas Slab may modify, suspend, or discontinue features as the service develops, including coverage areas, participating providers, and Slab Check or concrete project quote functionality.
